Sage Rheumatology is a direct specialty care practice.  In order to be able to spend more time with patients, reduce administrative costs, offer pricing transparency and to be able to provide outstanding comprehensive rheumatologic care without insurance company interference, Dr. Lee has chosen not to contract with any commercial insurance plans.  This means that patients pay Dr. Lee for her services directly.  In most cases, you may still use your insurance to cover the costs of medications, laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
